After the death of the half-orc Bardhbolvag, Sean Quinn, a visitor from Earth, took possession of the Eucharistic Chalice and began seeking guidance from the god of his fallen comrade. Instead, he soon convened with the God of War, Anhur, who revealed that the chalice is not the source of any god's power but a vessel through which they may act.
Anhur has guided Sean to engage in fierce combat with vicious foes. His lust for the blood of warriors cannot be sated. Anhur requires the sacrifice of those who engage in combat to feed his power.
Through Sean Quinn, Anhur hopes to rebuild his vast army of acolytes to its former glory when he sat at the top level with Thirith's other elder gods.
The holy symbol of Anhur's clerics is a battle-ready dagger, though it may be of any size or design. Until it tastes blood, the dagger proffers no powers unto its owner.
